New Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration rules - Compliance, Safety, Accountability (CSA) program - can impact everyone with more inspection, violations and fines.
Equipment, including trailers, will also be more carefully inspected. Malfunctioning trailer lights - signal, brake, tail or clearance – have a violation severity rating of 6 (on a scale of 1 to 10). Malfunctioning lights are easily noticed and, therefore, increase the likelihood of being stopped for a roadside inspection. Make sure your trailer lights are working properly with Light Check.
Any violations will be recorded in the SMS (Safety Management System) and available to the public including your customers, insurance companies and more.
Test trailer lights with Light Check for safety, savings and FMCSA compliance.
